Just don't, Frisk. 

(spoilers below!) 


While drawing this I was thinking what if Chara actually tried to spare Flowey but was too late because by then Frisk was angry everyone else was dead and while Chara hesitated, Frisk offed Flowey themself(in an AU where they didn't get the true pacifist ending so they may have still felt bitter about Flowey.). So, that left Chara to snap and try talking to you themself leading to the genocide ending.
